Ducks Acquire Defenseman From Calgary for Skalde
ANAHEIM — The Mighty Ducks acquired defenseman Bobby Marshall from the Calgary Flames for center Jarrod Skalde. Marshall, 23, has played 10 games with the St. John Flames, Calgary’s American Hockey League affiliate, and has five assists. Marshall has been assigned to the Baltimore Bandits, the Ducks’ AHL affiliate, and he will report immediately.
Skalde, 24, was obtained by the Ducks in the 1993 NHL expansion draft from the New Jersey Devils and he had been playing in Baltimore this season. He played 20 games with the Ducks in 1993-94, scoring five goals with four assists.
