BREA : Watercolor Exhibit to Debut at Local Gallery
A national organization of watercolor artists will host its 75th annual exhibition of paintings at the Brea Gallery beginning Sunday.
The National Watercolor Society selected 103 paintings from 1,300 entries received from the United States and Canada, gallery officials said. After its display in Brea, through Dec. 15, the exhibit will tour the nation.
An opening reception for the artists will be held Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. Several lectures and demonstrations are planned for subsequent Saturdays.
The Brea Gallery is at the Brea Civic & Cultural Center, 1 Civic Center Circle.
