COMPANY TOWN : ‘Quilt’ Team Sews Up DreamWorks Deal
DreamWorks Motion Picture Division signed a two-year production agreement with producers Midge Sanford and Sarah Pillsbury, makers of the recent film “How to Make An American Quilt.” The movie was produced by Amblin, the production arm for director Steven Spielberg, who is a partner in the DreamWorks SKG entertainment company along with Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen. The first project for the team at DreamWorks is expected to be “The Love Letter,” which is to be produced with Kate Capshaw, Spielberg’s wife.
