Youth Says Parents Beat Him Over Drug Money

PURCELL, Okla. — A teen-ager told police his parents chained, beat and burned him for eight weeks to try to recover $32,000 in drug money they thought he stole.
The 15-year-old boy’s stepfather and mother were being held on complaints of kidnaping for the purpose of extortion, maiming, child abuse, solicitation for murder and a variety of weapon and drug complaints.
