1994-95: 18-6-4 overall, 4-4-2 and third place in Sunset League; Lost to Santa Margarita in the first round of the Southern Section Division I playoffs.
Key returners: Debbie Blake, midfielder, Sr.; Heidi Denton, midfielder, Jr.; Sharon Gillis, defender, Sr.; Kim Green, midfielder, Jr.; Cary Groseclose, midfielder, So.; Amber Miller, midfielder, So.; Mindy Miller, forward, Sr.; Lisa Nielsen, defender, Jr.; Mary Peters, defender, Jr.; Kim Rudloff, goalkeeper, Sr.

Outlook: The Barons are expected to be strong in league play simply because of their experience. They return all but one starter, Jaime Price, who graduated. Karrie Layton, a first-team all-league selection, also graduated but didn’t play the last four games because of a knee injury. Fountain Valley’s top player is its stopper, Gillis, a first-team all-league and second-team All-Southern Section selection last season.
