Cold Claims 160 Lives in Moscow in a Month

MOSCOW — More than 160 people have frozen to death in Moscow in the past month, and all of them were drunk, the city Health Department was quoted Tuesday as saying.
As many as 20 people died in the first five days of December, the Itar-Tass news agency reported, citing the Health Department.
Temperatures this past week have dipped well below freezing and on Monday went as low as 2 degrees below zero.
