Valleywide : Registration for Proficiency Exams
People wishing to take the California High School Proficiency Examination on Jan. 20 must register by Wednesday.
The Jan. 20 exam is the first of three tests to be offered at 65 locations throughout the state this year. The second exam is scheduled for May 11 with a registration deadline of May 1. The third will be on Nov. 16 with a Nov. 6 sign-up deadline.
Locally, the exam will be administered at El Camino Real High School, 5440 Valley Circle Blvd. in Woodland Hills, and Glendale Community College, 1500 N. Verdugo Road.
Registration forms, available at high schools, community colleges and public libraries, should be sent to California Proficiency Testing, P.O. Box 1478, Rancho Cordova, CA 95741. The fee is $47.
