Dog Park Opponent Should Pay a Visit

I am shocked that you received opposition to the proposed Sepulveda Basin dog park (“Voter OKd Park Funds Shouldn’t Go to Dogs,” Letter to the Editor, Dec. 31).

I regularly visit the dog park on Mulholland and recommend that your writer check it out. There is no other park in the city system like it--free of homeless, no panhandlers and no gangbangers. Just tax-paying people who happen to have a dog.
