Tom Kindle, 47, actor who appeared on stage, screen and television. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, Kindle served in the Army infantry in Vietnam. His work in small theaters in Los Angeles included “Here Today Gone Tomorrow,” “A Touch of the Poet,” “The Martian Chronicles” and “Time Will Tell.” Among his films were “Rocketeer” and “Buddy Buddy.” He also appeared in such popular television series as “Evening Shade,” “Cheers,” “Designing Women,” “Newhart,” “Highway to Heaven,” “M.A.S.H.,” “Remington Steele” and “Mork and Mindy.” On Monday in Los Angeles.
