Washington’s Shawnee Pickney has found time to be a top student at school as well as a standout on the basketball team. The junior forward is averaging a team-high 12 rebounds for the Generals, who will play for the City Section Division 4-A title Saturday. She is also a straight-A student and a two-year member of the academic decathlon team.
