Hollywood Online to Provide National Movie Listings: The National Assn. of Theatre Owners and Hollywood Online will team up to provide nationwide movie listings and other interactive movie information via the Internet and online services. Under the alliance, HOL, a subsidiary of Times Mirror Co., will incorporate the listings into its own online sites, as well as creating new World Wide Web sites for participating theater chains. HOL will also work with major regional media outlets to build sites to offer localized versions of the new movie information service. Theaters will promote the service through trailers, posters and national advertising. NATO, the largest exhibition trade organization in the world, represents more than 16,000 movie screens worldwide. The service is expected to be available early this summer.
