Man Arrested in Roommate’s Stabbing
An Oxnard man, accused of stabbing his roommate seven times, was arrested Tuesday afternoon, as his roommate remained in good condition at St. John’s Regional Medical Center.
Marco Juarez, 20, was booked into Ventura County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder, Oxnard police said.
Efrin Tapia, 45, was stabbed seven times in the upper torso at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at 300 N. Rose Ave.
The motive for the stabbing was unknown, police said.
