U.S. Foreign Policy
The recent imbroglio with Cuba has proven once again that our foreign policy is one of double standards and total unfairness.
While we are doing business with Communist China and with all sorts of military dictators in Latin America and repressive regimes such as Saudi Arabia and Turkey, we keep punishing Castro for not being democratic. Meanwhile the wealthy Cuban exiles who lost their estates keep dreaming that they will return to the motherland to reclaim their inheritances.
Well, it is time to wake up to the real, changing world! The same goes for the realities of the Middle East and the problem with the terrorist group Hamas. It is Yasser Arafat who needs our support to control extremists, not Israel, which has the state-of-the-art weapons and a superb intelligence force.
