Ticket Prices Halved for 4th of July Show
Under an agreement with the Fullerton Rotary Club, the city has agreed to cut ticket prices for its annual Fourth of July Community Fireworks and Festival.
In exchange, the civic group will contribute $6,000 toward event costs and provide up to 70 volunteers to staff the festival.
The Rotary Club also will promote ticket sales, collect ticket revenue, staff ticket booths and provide a report on its activities after the event.
The agreement was proposed by the Rotary Club after city officials said they were interested in having private groups sponsor the event, which costs about $58,000 to produce.
The new ticket prices will be $3 for adults and $2 for children younger than 12. Last year’s prices were twice those amounts.
This year’s Fourth of July celebration will be sponsored by the city and the Rotary Club. It will take place at Fullerton High School Stadium from 4 to 10 p.m.
