Going Down to the Wire

With three games left in the regular season, the Mighty Ducks are 33-38-8 and will make the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time if they go 3-0 (to finish with 80 points) or 2-0-1 (79 points).

Other possible playoff scenarios:

* If the Ducks go 2-1-0 or 1-0-2 (78 points), they can make it if: Toronto goes 0-2, Calgary goes 0-1-1, Vancouver goes 0-1 or 0-0-1 or Winnipeg goes 0-3 or 0-2-1 or 0-1-2.

* If the Ducks go 1-1-1 or 0-0-3 (77 points), they can make it if: Calgary goes 0-2, Vancouver goes 0-1 or Winnipeg goes 0-3.

* If the Ducks lose twice, they’re out.
