Sega to Equip Entertainment Centers: Cineplex Odeon said Sega GameWorks will develop and operate some of the company’s new interactive entertainment centers adjacent to its North American movie houses, although financial details and the number of locations have yet to be decided, the companies said. GameWorks last month announced its plan to open 100 of its own entertainment centers around the world, featuring arcade games, high-tech attractions, simulators, food and merchandise. Under the Cineplex agreement, Sega GameWorks will design and operate the centers and keep them equipped with up-to-date games manufactured by Sega Enterprises and other sources, the companies said.
