Volleyball/Outside hitter

Carlucci, from Upland High, had an outstanding week as the Rustlers won four matches to win their second consecutive state volleyball title. He had 45 kills in two matches May 22 as Golden West advanced in the Southern California playoffs. Carlucci had 24 kills in a sweep of Long Beach in the semifinals and had 31 as Golden West beat rival Orange Coast in five games to win the title Saturday.
