‘World in Music’ at Hammer Museum
UCLA at the Armand Hammer Museum of Art and Cultural Center is presenting a season of music as part of its ongoing “World in Music” series.
The series will run on Saturdays at 2 p.m. in the museum’s courtyard at 10899 Wilshire Blvd. The performances are free and no reservations are needed.
* This Saturday: “UCLA’s Guitar Summit” is a performance of jazz and flamenco guitar by Chelsea Green, Marcel Camargo and Brandon Mayer.
* May 18: “America’s Banjo” is a program of American popular music on antique banjos by Gordy Ohliger.
