BASEBALL DAILY REPORT : Question Lingers: Park or Astacio?

The Dodgers still have not determined who will go to the bullpen when Ramon Martinez rejoins the rotation.

The Dodger staff is strongly leaning toward keeping Pedro Astacio in the starting rotation and moving Chan Ho Park back to the bullpen, just as they opened the season.

First baseman Eric Karros’ slump continued. He drew two walks and hit a ball to the warning track, but still was hitless in two at-bats. He now is 0 for 24 and batting .188. . . . The Dodgers continue to rely on the home run, with 13 of their last 17 runs, and 22 of their last 39 runs coming on home runs.
