Free Class Designed to Help Asthmatics
The latest in a series of free classes to help asthma sufferers control their illness will be held Tuesday in Simi Valley.
The classes are designed to help asthmatics identify what causes an attack and learn how to control it. Hospitalizations and emergency room visits due to asthma have increased 46% in the last 10 years, said Linette Brammer of Community Medical Group.
The class will be held at 6 p.m. at Community Medical Group in Simi Valley. Similar classes will be held in Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks several times each month through September.
