Man Robs Glendale Bank After Scaring Teller
GLENDALE — An apparently unarmed man strolled into a bank Monday and, pretending he had a handgun, frightened a teller into handing over an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The robbery occurred at the Great Western Savings Bank in the 500 block of North Glendale Avenue about 11:30 a.m., Glendale Police Sgt. Terry Jones said.
With his hand stuck into his waistband, the man simulated a pistol and ordered the teller to hand over the cash, Jones said. The robber escaped on foot.
