Woodward, Not Stanley
With all of the research books at his disposal, it is inconceivable to me that Don Heckman could have made such a grievous factual error in his TV review “Heather Locklear Makes ‘Mind’ Matter” (May 27).
While I have always considered Kim Stanley to be one of the most brilliant actresses ever to grace the Broadway stage (and too few films), she did not star in “The Three Faces of Eve.” That dream role was played by Joanne Woodward--who, incidentally, also captured the 1957 best actress Oscar for her portrayal in the film.
