ALBUM REVIEWS / POP
Chixdiggit, “Chixdiggit,” *** Sub Pop. The songs are familiar: Amphetamine-punk sprints that jump-start at full-throttle and end before you can blink. Sounds like the Ramones? You bet, but this Canadian quartet brings an innocent-feeling teen spunk to songs about mom, snotty girlfriends and, well, snotty girlfriends’ moms.
Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
