Computer Upgrade Delays Budget Plans
As officials from other Orange County cities begin poring over municipal budget proposals for fiscal 1996-97, La Habra has no projections whatsoever.
City Manager Jerry L. Bankston said Thursday that La Habra’s budget talks have been delayed because City Hall is undergoing a massive upgrading of the computer system that stores its financial data.
Bankston said he expects to have a preliminary budget ready for public hearings before the end of the summer.
