COLORADO : Agent Claims FBI Hurt Bomb Probe
An FBI agent charged that agency misconduct has compromised the investigation of the Oklahoma City bombing case. Veteran FBI crime lab chemist Frederic Whitehurst, who testified against the FBI in the World Trade Center bombing case and submitted a deposition in the O.J. Simpson murder trial criticizing the agency, alleged that improper conduct in the bombing case involved scientific fraud, misconduct and negligence. Timothy J. McVeigh and Terry L. Nichols are accused of the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building that claimed 168 lives.
