Turned Off by Television
For as long as I can remember, we, the TV audience, have been at the mercy of the commercial. Jim Murray hit the nail on the head when he said we had to see commercials and not be able to see the winning Kentucky Derby number go up on the board.
The next sport to fall to the commercial will be football. Someone will be running for a 60-yard touchdown and since no one can catch him, the network will go to commercial.

Viewing the NHL playoffs Sunday left me feeling blue. The Fox network should leave the “blue dot” for what it was intended--anonymous victims on Court TV.
