Ballet Articles a Work of Art
* I am writing to express the Saint Joseph Ballet’s and my gratitude for the outstanding articles written for your readers about the young women and men of the ballet.
On May 26, the 10-page section of The Times totally devoted to the members of the ballet was an overwhelming surprise and golden receipt.
Photographer Gail Fisher and writer Rebecca Trounson lived the lives of the youngsters they interviewed, interpreting their thoughts, hopes and, yes, their disappointments.
I wonder if I can truly appreciate the countless hours your staff dedicated themselves in the preparation and writing of the narrative.
All are to be commended for their many days given to this specific effort.
I wish to thank you for The Times’ sincerity and enthusiasm in the ballet’s mission.
