Ex-Rep. Rostenkowski to Begin Prison Term in July

WASHINGTON — Former Rep. Dan Rostenkowski will begin serving a 17-month federal prison sentence for mail fraud on July 22, U.S. District Court Judge Normal Johnson ordered Friday.
Johnson ordered the Illinois Democrat to report first to the federal prison medical facility at Rochester, Minn., because he underwent surgery for prostate cancer in May.
