All Must Support Library Expenses
Whom do the supervisors of Ventura County represent most? They propose property owners should pay a $35 annual fee to provide libraries with funds.
Have the supervisors proposed that non-property owners (renters of homes, apartments or in mobile home parks as tenants) pay a similar annual fee per unit? Or pay per hour of use or a check-out fee for their use of the so-called free county libraries?
The citizens of Ventura County deserve equal and fair justice, we think.
