Not Forgotten
It’s been almost a year since California Highway Patrol Officer Bruce T. Hinman was killed by a drunk driver while helping three people stranded on the Ventura Freeway. But the officer has not been forgotten. . . . The Legislature this week passed a resolution, sponsored by Richard Katz (D-Sylmar), changing the name of the Ventura and Hollywood freeway interchange to the “Bruce T. Hinman Memorial Freeway Interchange.”
