Bill Forsyth made a great contribution to Scottish film in the ‘80s with such gems as “Gregory’s Girl,” “Local Hero” and “Comfort and Joy.” I’m surprised David Gritten neglected to mention him (“A Scottish Renaissance in the Making?,” Aug. 18).
