Schwartz Wins Speedway Feature

COSTA MESA —  Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa won the four-lap scratch main event in front of 5,330 in the weekly speedway motorcycle program Friday night at the Orange County Fairgrounds.

Brad Oxley of San Juan was second and Shawn McConnell of Brea was third. Steve Lucero of Riverside was fourth followed by John Aden of Apple Valley.

Jake Zemke of Paso Robles won the eight-lap handicap main event. Jesse Finch of Orange was second, Lucero was third, McConnell was fourth and Ed Castro of Ojai fifth.
