Invitees Should Boycott Forum

I was shocked and outraged to read the story “Only 4 candidates invited for Thousand Oaks City Council debate.”

If the four invitees had character they would decline to participate. The campaign has not even begun, and who are these pundits that are telling the voters who to vote for? There is a good reason that there are no primaries, party affiliations for these council seats. If Thomas Parker was really candid about not inviting also-rans, he should not have invited Marshall Dixon who finished a dismal 11th out of 16 candidates in 1994 as well as Linda Parks because in 1994, she came in 12th out of 16.
