California Iris Society Will Hold a Plant Sale

Late summer is the best time to divide or plant bearded iris so they are ready to bloom again in spring. The Southern California Iris Society will hold a plant sale from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. next Sunday, at the West Covina Mall, next to the San Bernardino Freeway in West Covina. Take the Vincent Avenue South exit. The dormant rhizomes cost $2-$3 each.
