Aliso Niguel will open its third full varsity football season tonight at Columbus (Ohio) Hilliard.
Aliso Niguel was 8-3-1 last season and qualified for the Southern Section playoffs.

Three coaches will not return to Bolsa Grande this year, including boys’ basketball Coach Dick Braderich, who resigned for personal reasons, Athletic Director Ron Inman said.
Alfredo Garcia will not return to coach the boys’ soccer team because of other job commitments, and girls’ soccer Coach Charles Manfrey also will not return.
