Memorial Services Set for Morey Amsterdam
Memorial services for veteran comedian and character actor Morey Amsterdam are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at University Synagogue, 11960 Sunset Blvd. in Brentwood.
Amsterdam, best remembered for his television writer character, Maurice “Buddy” Sorell, on “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” died Monday in Los Angeles at age 87.
