North Hollywood, Clay Paste Poly, 62-7
Dante Clay of North Hollywood High rushed for 323 yards and five touchdowns in 13 carries in a 62-7 rout of Poly in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game Friday night at North Hollywood.
Clay, who scored on runs of 21, 67, 17, 35 and 84 yards, scored on his only two carries of the second half and did not play in the fourth quarter. A running clock was used in the final quarter.
North Hollywood (4-4, 3-2 in the conference) gained 496 yards, including eight plays of 20 yards or more. The Husky defense had five sacks and intercepted three passes, two of which were returned for touchdowns.
