Music Workshops Planned for Students
So you want to be a rapper. Or a singer. . . .
To teach young people what the business is really about, some executives at MVP records are offering a series of workshops at the William Grant Still Arts Center in the Mid-City area.
Classes in the “NU Music School” are being held every Saturday through Dec. 14 are free and open only to students currently enrolled in the music department of their high school or who have a recommendation from the dean of the school music department.
