Beatlemania, Part 3
The Beatles are back on top of The Times’ Southern California chart with the third two-CD installment of their unreleased studio recordings--but that’s no surprise. The real “face”-off last week was between Ghostface Killah and Babyface for No. 2. Ghostface, the elusive Wu-Tang Clan rapper, bested the sensitive crooner in nationwide sales, but Babyface’s “The Day” is faring a little better in Southern California. Nate Dogg’s first solo single, “Never Leave Me Alone,” stays at No. 2 in the Southland while jumping from No. 40 to No. 29
