SEASON AT A GLANCE: Fleshman has run three strong races in a row after being slowed by a recurring side cramp during the first half of the season. She placed second in the Santa Clarita Invitational on Oct. 19, third in the team sweepstakes race in the Mt. San Antonio College Invitational on Oct. 26 and first in the Foothill League finals Thursday at College of the Canyons.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Fleshman posted a runaway victory in the Foothill League finals with a time of 19 minutes 4 seconds over the three-mile course. Her time cut 65 seconds off her previous best on the Canyons course and gave her a 41-second margin of victory over defending league champion Breanne Schweitzer of Saugus. “I felt very comfortable,” Fleshman said. “This course wasn’t one of my favorites before the race, but after today, I’m beginning to like it a little more.”
