ANAHEIM — Country-western singing star Reba McEntire has canceled a sold-out Sunday night concert at the Pond of Anaheim due to injuries she suffered in a skiing accident in Utah this week.
A spokeswoman said the singer injured her knee in a fall and underwent minor surgery on Wednesday. Initially, Jessie Schmidt said, McEntire had hoped to recover sufficiently to appear in Anaheim.
McEntire still has concerts scheduled through Dec. 15 in San Jose, Sacramento, Portland, Ore., Tacoma, Wash., and Vancouver, Canada.
Information on refunds for the Anaheim concert is expected to be released by Pond officials on Monday.
