Knott-y and Nice for Christmas
Knott’s “Merry” Farm is in full swing at the Buena Park theme park. It’s the final weekend for the annual Christmas Crafts Festival ($3.50, park admission not required), in which the Ghost Town is dressed up as a Victorian Christmas village. The crafts festival is open daily through Christmas Eve. “Snoopy’s Twelve Days of Christmas on Ice” continues as part of the Classic Christmas celebration through Jan. 1. It’s free with park admission, or $2; seniors and children, $1 with craft fair admission.
Other Classic Christmas attractions include snow sledding on Beagle Hill. The Arizona State Rose Bowl marching band, cheerleaders and football team will gather for a pep rally Dec. 31. (Anyone wearing ASU or Ohio State University insignia gets in for half price, through Jan. 5.)
Today and Friday, free admission to all rides and attractions is available through the California Highway Patrol toys for disadvantaged children program. Bring an unwrapped gift worth $10 or more and receive unlimited usage of rides and attractions throughout the park.
Knott’s Berry Farm, 8039 Beach Blvd., Buena Park; (714) 220-5200.
