Concordia University administrator Henry Aschbrenner has been named vice president of the campus and executive director of its fund-raising arm, the Concordia University Foundation.
Aschbrenner will be responsible for overseeing the university’s major fund-raising drive, “On Wings of Eagles,” in which officials hope to raise $30 million by 2000 for new facilities, student scholarships and other projects. He also will manage the foundation’s public relations, alumni correspondence and telemarketing.
Aschbrenner joined the foundation in 1994 as its director of major and planned gifts. Previously, he worked for 32 years as an educator in several Northern California cities.
