Jorgensen Co. Names New Chief Executive
BREA — Major metals distributor Earle M. Jorgensen Co., in a top-level management shuffle, has selected a veteran steel executive to become chief executive.
Maurice Sandy Nelson will become president, chief executive and chief operating officer, effective Saturday. He has been chief executive of Inland Steel Co. in Chicago.
Nelson succeeds Neven Hulsey, who will become chairman. David Roderick, the present chairman, will become chairman of the company’s executive committee.
