Michael Braun; Writer, Producer for Screen, Stage
Michael Braun, 60, writer and producer for Hollywood and Broadway. A native of New York educated at Harvard, Braun spent several years in London, where he wrote for the Observer and the London Sunday Times. In 1964, he also wrote a behind-the-scenes diary of the Beatles’ first British tour titled “Love Me Do!” After working as assistant to directors Stanley Kubrick and Roman Polanski, Braun moved to Hollywood, where he worked on the film “Reversal of Fortune” and produced Waylon Green’s film “The Secret Life of Plants.” Braun had recently been working in New York as a producer of the new Broadway musical “Titanic” scheduled to open April 23.
