Library Offers Free Assistance on Taxes
The Fountain Valley Library is offering free tax assistance for senior citizens, the disabled, those with little or no English language skills and other residents who need help but cannot afford accountants.
Volunteers who have successfully completed an Internal Revenue Service training program will be available to answer questions and help fill out state and federal tax forms.
Residents who do not meet the criteria for tax help may complete the forms themselves and bring them in for review by the volunteers.
The program begins Feb. 3 and continues through April 14 on Mondays from 5 to 8 p.m.
The library is at 17634 Los Alamos St.
Information: (714) 962-1324.
