Nash Is About Set to Rejoin Matadors
Dan Nash, the starting setter for the Cal State Northridge men’s volleyball team last season, has rejoined the Matadors after quitting in the summer and could begin playing next week, Coach John Price said Thursday.
On Thursday, the Matadors also picked up a transfer, outside hitter Greg Harasymowyczfrom La Verne.
Price hopes to learn today, before a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation home match against UC Irvine, if outside hitter Jason Hughes got a high-enough grade in a class to regain his academic eligibility. Hughes was a projected starter.
