Long Beach Loses on Road, 84-64

New Mexico State won its ninth consecutive home game against Long Beach State, 84-64, Thursday night before 5,704 at the Pan American Center in Las Cruces, N.M. Unlike last season’s meeting, this game was not marred by off-the-court incidents of anti-Semitism or alleged verbal racial attacks.
Starting forwards Enoch Davis and Louis Richardson scored 17 points each for the Aggies, who improved to 10-7 overall and 4-3 in the Eastern Division of the Big West Conference. Guard Brandon Titus led the Western Division-member 49ers (7-10, 3-4) with 23 points.
