Officials Expand Child-Slaying Case
Investigators expanded their probe into the JonBenet Ramsey slaying to six states and said there are still questions about the alibi of her 20-year-old half brother. “We have more to do on that,” Boulder, Colo., Dist. Atty. Alex Hunter said when asked about reports police were in Atlanta trying to verify the family’s claim John Andrew Ramsey was out of state when the 6-year-old was killed. Hunter declined to comment on reports that the former University of Colorado student’s name was not on an airline ticket cited by family members as proof he was out of state.
