Crescenta Valley 70, Cerritos 48--Junior forward Michelle Greco continued her torrid postseason play with 34 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Falcons (27-2) in a Division I-A game at Crescenta Valley.
Greco has 97 points and 37 rebounds in three playoff games. She scored 12 the Falcons’ 15 points in the third quarter, when second-seeded Crescenta Valley broke open a close game.
The Falcons overcame the loss of point guard Tara Gregory, who sprained her right ankle in the second quarter and did not return. Coach Marc Ward said Gregory is questionable for Tuesday night’s semifinal game.
Jackie Rhetta added 12 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, and Sinnamann Garrett scored 10 points for Crescenta Valley.
